EDDI HASKELL is a Good Guy who I met and became friend's with via Tad's Cabaret ... where I moonlight as a dancer.

The Beautiful People who showed up at White Party Charity Event, held at Tadd's Cabaret, to help homeless people were all Heroes in SL and RL. They donated to the cause and while enjoying great fun as organized by the Handsome and Lovable Eddi Haskell seen in the picture below - monitoring the activities from above the dancefloor (you can see him dangling behind the disco ball). It was a good time and a great success. And I know I felt good donating as well!

My "Can Do" Man

While I take forever to produce a *simple ad campaign ... "My Can Do Man", Mel Martinsyde, Works Wonders!! ... in a matter of minutes!

*I am a perfectionist - but Mel created this perfect piece of Art in the studio (when I took a short break during the day of shooting Beck and Carter's Video). Mel whips up awesome masterpieces so quickly that I cannot use "perfection" as an excuse to take a lot of time, anymore.

Taking a short break during one of the test shoots for the next video. Mel and I work all weekend ... hoping to meet critical deadlines.

Finally got a new hairstyle and might be trimming down and muscling up a bit too. Am a bit worried since going in that Haunted Halloween House called 'Chateau de Morte' in Provincetown yesterday. Warning, don't sit in the chairs in the dining room there because you might screw up your AV. Since I have been trying to repair my look, I fear I may never be the same. :(

High in the sky over a sim owned by Mel Martinsyde who currently shares the tropical island hideaway with his partner Rider Overland and other guests ... is the custom Photography and Modeling Studio ... exclusively designed and built by the extremely talented Mr. Mel Martinsyde, himself.

The new O&M Studio features a modeling runway with "built-in struts" to parade the latest designs and some hot models, too.

Rider and Mel contemplating the temporarily empty clothing (and costume) racks in the dressing and preparation area while viewing a newly installed video screen and projector system that will add impressive flair to any show.

New Season of Haute Couture at Beck & Carter

This is a latest in the beautiful collections, as inspired by Gianni Versace, and now exclusively made available through the Beck and Carter Fashion House based in Milan, Italy.

Rider laments that the fashion shoot is a bit behind schedule due to recent home projects, a vacation on Cape Cod, participating in a film being produced there, ... and many other social obligations filling his schedule around the world.

"I have to learn to say 'NO" ...says Overland, when asked about his obligations with family and friends. "I am spread thin", he says, "but I try to accommodate my friends and be 'available' as much as I can. Its tough. But I can honestly say I appreciate my closest friends who understand and support me, ... allowing me the time to devote to creative projects is a great character trait that defines a supportive friend.. I can't always party!" A good friend is more defined by his actions than his intentions.

Rider Overland and his associate photographer's current project list includes capturing raw images of the many new ensembles being sold at Beck & Carter for the next phase, ... the final edits. Beck and Carter are perfectionists and so is the photographer and his team at Vport Studios based in the Boston area. For every final shot, there are at least 50 others that get left on the cutting room floor.

Rider Overland and the crew are known to spend a whole day just to capture one outfit in print. It goes without saying that there is a Legacy to uphold .. an Obsession with providing ultimate in style for men. The creative team is both 'like minded' in its attention to detail and yet independently valuable in bringing new and exciting, perspectives that support and hopefully augment the brand proudly maintained by Beck and Carter.



Shipped out to the Islands to shoot a few more pieces from the Beck & Carter Swim Collection. The open seas, crashing waves, and dramatic Palm Tree environment offered a savory backdrop for these much sought after designs.

At first, there was privacy to be had, but the word seemed to have gotten out that I was there. A handful of people took to camping on the beach to watch the shoot, ... including a person who watched from behind a palm tree, dressed in a bunny/kangaroo outfit. Oh what a crazy world.
